Yup, in most cases it's either your Anti-Virus or DEP (Data Execution Protection),
to fix that:
-turn your Anti-Virus off (if needed, uninstall it and get a new one like Avira)
-add gunz.exe to the DEP exclusion list ( http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/65...-programs.html )

It's pretty much the same on XP, Vista and Windows 7.
