Everytime I try to log in . It gets to the login screen and I click connect and it just exits the program and says xiao's runnable has stopped working . I have vista is it because of that ?

i get thesame thing...
turn off firewall add it to ur acceptions in windows firewall if u dont want to turn it off.
reinstall restart computer
and it should work
