First time Making a background on cs5

This is my first ever Background that iv made with photoshop and i tried my bets lool.

I Know i suck but im new to GFX And Designing.
So Yeah here it is Please post some tips of how to Improve please, Thanks.

Please nobody Put like You suck Rofl or DELETE Photoshop Because seriouslt it doesnt both me as its my first time so youll just be wasting your time ok.

hmmmmm, its not bad for a beginner..


Criticise:
- Erase those ugly white stars..
- combine doesn't go together with the flow of the background, and resize it to something smaller..
- the green outer glow does not fit in the picture..
