I was putting in archetype then when i was done it didnt change back to a normal file it stayed as microsoft word. now when i open it i get an error and my gunz crashes during the load when it gets to gameinterface. How can i change my config.xml back to normal

simply reinstall the game.
or, right click the file click on properties and make it XML.
or just rename it to config.XML

you literally have to put .xml behind it and save, this will turn it back again.

Than a reinstallation wouldn't hurt at all, so you know for certainty that it isn't the config.xml, if it still occurs after come back to this thread.
