Max is in fact more Powerfull than Blender and is also a bit more Complicated to use.
Blender was/is meant to be used by Beginners with no/a little knowledge about 3d.
Both, Max and Blender have Community Written Scripts which improve the Programm alot.
Blender catchs up quite alot to Max but cant make it till the end.
However, the most Powerfull Programm is of no use when you dont know what you are doing/cant handle the programm.

Everyone can go ahead and make stuff and post them here.
