I am usually working on things on my PC, well, most of the time. I mostly use 3dsmax or blender, GTK radiant, or photoshop. I can also do PHP & MYSQL, and ofcourse graphics art, raster and vectors. Well that's beside the point.

Everytime I'm working on anything, I get bored halfway through the process, and finish 10-20 minutes worth of work in 3-4 hours, or even days.

I want to know what YOU developers, artist, programmers, do when you're getting bored while making an item, art, programm, site.

I'm a photographer, so if I get bored with what I'm doing I may go out with my camera and take a few pictures
have a look at what I have and think of a few idea's. Then I go onto photoshop and try and make my ideas come to life

Always best to take a break and look at your images on photoshop just to see if you can think of something, like combining images blending certain things into the background.

Might also be good just to focus on 1 topic for a bit, because your bound to get one idea which you'll like and have fun doing.

also good when your making something to put your headphones in and listen to music and block out everything around you for abit till its finished, I find I work better when I do that. ;D

Just looking for other artist's inspiration like your self, to continue work, that way I can seek it.

I don't do photoshop/Producing 24/7.
i do it when i'm really motivated so i really put my effort into it. and when i get bored I simply stop working on it, and circle through this process till it's done.
so don't worry about the time you spend on it, or how long it'll take it could even take months as long as you keep having fun it, it doesn't matter.

Don't forget to go outside and have fun in real life so you won't have regrets when you turn like 20-30 and realise you wasted your life on a computer.
