Need Help!

My brother gave me this game Battlefield 2.
I love Battlefield, but now i can't play the game...
I had windows 7 first, but it didn't work on 7, so i downloaded a patch,
but it didn't work...
then i downloaded Vista, witch failed either...
Now i have "Sun VirtualBox" but it's slow... it's a program that runs Windows xp when you are on Vista...

I'm wondering if some1 could help me fixing this, so i can play this on my laptop...
And i don't wanna go on windows xp -.-

Could you be lacking ram? Sometimes, if you have a low graphic card it won't let you install the game either.

if yes:
please check if it's vista compatible if not, than fail and go download BF2 illegal somewhere that's vista compatible

/lol'd it's not just about ur gfx card, it's about if ur game is VISTA COMPATIBLE, if it's not ur screwed. also are your drivers etc matched for B2 there could be alot of reasons. my advice is just download an illegal version of BF2 that's matched for VISTA
