Go to http://192.168.1.1 , login, find the option "Open Ports" or "Port Forwarding" somewhere, typ in your local IP + the port you want to open, save and done?
It's a terrible thing, I think, in life to wait until you're ready.
I have this feeling now that actually no one is ever ready to do anything.
There is almost no such thing as ready. There is only now.
And you may as well do it now. Generally speaking, now is as good a time as any.

Thats what i'm doing but that's isnt working i go to cmd>ipconfig take my ip there i log into the routers sites and i Go to the portforwarding settings Name: ***** Ip: My ip TCP/UDP = 9999/9999 It's still closed for some damn reason,

http://www.dlink.com/products/?pid=548 That's my router it's kinda expensive but i'm not happy with it since i can't open the ports.

Opening ports DOES bring risk to your computer, but it's your choice.
I will PM you a link to a forums that does have tutorials for this issue.
