Ego happens because, People, like me, Are Sad, Just want to win all the time, Or even just to prove that there better, That's how 1 v 1's were created i guess, And that's how game's were created, And to create this atmosphere where, Hatred, Funny, *Ego* and Even sometime's Love.
Is also created, But If it's a game where your fighting an Opposing person, It's Inevitable to stop Ego.
Ego shall live for ever.

People may ego for several different reasons.
They may ego because they think they are the bestest person at a game.
They may ego because they want to make others feel like crap, because they've got problems.
They may just be having a bad day and start taking it out on another player.
And they may just do it, just because they've got nothing else to do.
