Some idea's:
Hang up some chandeliers.
Place some paintings along the wall.
Use the same texture but diffrent lighting on some places so you don't get the monotone feeling.

I was already thinking about the candles and lights. i dont know about the paintings... thnx for the ideas anyway =]
