or you could just either tell your parents to contact your ISP or you can contact them, and either have them monitor you and when you receive an attack they can take w.e actions they need to, or you could call them next time it happens. i know people who've done that and they got the attacker(s) IP's black holed.

but then again the attacker(s) most likely have IP Hiders and/or Scramblers

but I believe it's an over-flow of Ping requests? Many firewalls allow the disabling of ICMP (the function for Ping I believe)

and I know theres a way to disable packet sizes larger than 65,315kb or w/e it is that's the max... as well as malformed ones... to just ignore rather than slow down trying to process an indecipherable packet

They're usually done with Botnets, a bunch of computers infected that function as Zombies or slave computers to use as their bidding

Okay everyone, this is very unexpected of me to do. But, many of you know, and if you don't you will, That i've been harrassed/ddosed/threatened ect, for along period of time by Anonymous people..or maybe it's just one person. This all started when I joined THIS community. So, it may or may not be a person 'here' but, some-how it is all linked together. I know I probably 'nagged' it on, or whatever;but it wasn't purposely;and what I was doing were for my friends, nothing more. I've tried to stick it through..And be tough and strong, but to be honest, I'm tired of it. Just when I thought they 'stopped' I get these messages on my youtube;
"BITCH no wonder why you get hacked cuz you're just like that annoying disgusting whore Boxxy. just GET THE **** OFF the internet Miranda, or we will make your life a Living Hell. this video DEFINITELY rubs me the wrong way to say the least, you are so ******* annoying. no. this whole "innocent funny" act, with those dumbass eye rolls and your attitude, IS FAR FROM FUNNY, AND PURE ANNOYING AND BITCHY.
