Please Help.

- When I first downloaded the .exe installer version of FG v7, I loaded up the game and then it would stall and crash at the second 'Mesh Loading...". I couldn't exit out of the game by any means, so I had to manually power down my computer.

- Then, I downloaded the .rar version and extracted and ran it ; It says 'Failed to initialize DirectX'. But I have DirectX 9.
I've tried the vcredist x86 thing. Also I've turned my antivirus off.

Could someone please help?

I can't figure out how to turn it completely off.
I can only get it to the 'turn on DEP for only essential Windows programs' option

Okay. DEP is off and I still get the failed to initialize DirectX error when I click start.

My RAM = 1 GB
I haven't had problems playing gunz before.

First problem: What OS are you running?

Second problem: Delete config.xml. (If you used the installer, you wouldn't have this problem.)

I use Windows XP Home
I deleted config.xml and that fixed my DirectX problem.
But now it's back to crashing during loading. I've completed the loading screen once and that was on windowed mode. Also when I got into the lobby everything said "nomsg"
