I've been talking to him on MSN.... and I can safely say that his is addicted to these forums. Although he said he quit, he continuously refreshed and rechecked the forums every other minute.
Expect to see him completely active again by tomorrow. If not tomorrow, he'll probably give into his addiction sometime this week.

So when he says desu, it means I have returned. It's a reference to the previous sentence.
