He 'retired' because he had health problems (wrists).
Incarnation took over his mid lane position, after that... the shotcaller (Hai) was gone and C9 started to play like sh!t.

Then Meteos retired/left the jungle position and Hai decided to come back as a temporarily jungler and shotcaller, C9 became a bit better... just a bit
After Worlds they will look for a jungler if I read that correctly somewhere on Reddit ^- ^

i knew about hai retiring but not meteos, he still isnt doing any better in the jungle than he was as a mid laner anyway

Probably not to C9, there were some rumors about Meteos starting a new team or join C9T, but can't find the Reddit post.
I think Meteos left C9 because they kept losing, he's a really good jungler but the team went from top-tier to mid/bottom tier.
Pretty demotivating, can understand his choice to step down. No idea what he currently does, he doesn't stream that often.

Also Hai's there for a while (half last split?), good shot caller and jungle needs less mechanix tbh.
