My friend is 7-1, he was gold 5 as well. He probably end up in mid/high gold XD
But he has been lucky literally every season, he went 9-1 and 8-2 before.. Probably gonna happen again...

And all my other dia 5+ friends ended up in plat 1 with 5+ wins, so same for me.. win 4-5 = plat 1
and I get my rank next Summer, hh


btw. if you don't get your champion/role or people flame in champion select: DODGE.
The only punishment you get is that you have to wait 5-30 minutes before you can start another game.
You don't lose LP/MMR in placements. So, just dodge if you don't trust the team comp or soever.

I know ._. No one in my FL is rushing any ranks tho.

Last year one of my friends got to rank 5 in 3 days of non-stop ranked, he ended up in diamond 1 and then got stuck there (the whole season) XD.

Depends, Gold 1 that goes 10-0 can reach Platinum 1 :-p
But most likely only for people that were P3 MMR+ last season and win at least 6/10 games.
Challenger players only need to win 1 or 2 games and can lose the other 8 and still end up in plat 1 xD

An info that I'd like to share, altho you have been placed in a lower division than you were in season 5, you still have a very high MMR (Match Making Rating) which would lead you to earn a huge amount of LP so you will be able to climb up very quickly if you manage to win, also you will face people that are approximately as your previous division since they have a close MMR as you are.

Also I am assuming that if you get winning streak after you have been placed in a low elo you'll be able to skip divisions, so good luck for you guys out there.
