My improvement stopped after reaching Diamond when clamping in Plat 1 (+6/-4 was avg. gain/lose per game) was removed

btw for the placements scrubs here:
You can dodge without a penalty LP/MMR wise, you only receive the dodge timer (5-15-30min etc..) but that is all.
So if your team comp is retarded, people are flaming or you did not get your champion/role --> dodge ^^

Unless they recently added that, it wont give you a lose.
I've dodged countless times on my Riven only smurf in S4 & S5 whilst being on my placements.

You still have to play 10 total games before you get placed, so dodging does not count as a loss.

To add on, usually dodging gives you a time & -3LP penalty. But since you do not have any LP... how are you supposed to lose it?
Dodging never affected MMR, so that does not matter... so maybe you indirectly lose 3LP, but that is nothing compared to losing an actual game and dropping MMR.

Yeah I could've gotten plat or diamond at season 4 but it was nice to go a league higher every season.
Improved a lot as well between those seasons

I reached diamond 5 with over 65% winrate with my main champions, wouldn't be that hard to get out of it if I try hard.. lol
I just need to take time and calm down and grind from gold to diamond again
