Next time you could replace that Iceborn Gaunlet with Sterak's Gage (hp and dmg buff when you get dmg early) or Frozen Mallet (for aa slows + hp), both give 150 extra hp if you stack your Jaurim's Fist.

Actually bought it for the actives on it though. i knew it was quite unnecessary to buy it, but hey i had a huge lead so some troll buys couldn't do anything bad

Sure IB has a spell slow, but you also AA as an ADC so FM could work to if you are going for slows.
But usually it is either TF or IB, you could replace TF with BT too for example.
