you're suppose to build mana lol.

More mana = more damage

His abilities scale with mana, and your main damage comes from "Q". I hope you noticed that everytime you use an ability it resets the cooldown. So basically open with your Q if you are in range, follow up with rune prison and then your ultimate or bouncing stuff thingy, and you'll have your Q refreshed.

As for the build, always start with tears, or catalyzer. Then you can make ROA but after that try to build tanky. Try to look at your enemies for whos fed, basically if AP chars are fed then build your cat. into a banshees veil, or if the AD is fed, try to build frozen heart.
Later on you can always get guardian angel as a good defensive item, rylia's for some little AP and health and the slow ability and an abysell for its passive and AP. Wota is also a very good item if your looking for sustain, having this with tears and some tanky items will make you tanky, damage dealing and you'll have high sustainability.

Hope this basic explanation helped you out, though remember to always look at the score board for your items, not the ones that are being suggested or the ones in a guide. Only items such as tears are a must.

At end game.. had out of no where 500 ping so lagged like a beast got me 2 deaths and we lost.. '_'
