The orignal wind step is 3 jumps.
Jump > Slash (Hold) > Dash > Switch (Gun) > Switch (Sword) > Jump > Dash (Silent) Slash (Hold) > Switch (Gun) > Jump > Gun Dash > Shoot.
Advanced Flash Step + Half Half Step
There's plenty of videos on youtube showing you what it looks like and how to do it.
Probably what rui_Kenshin says , im not an expert at that part however i can contribute my own part.
Whenever you do any sort of animation lock , Dash lock .. all to windstep..
You can never see yourself doing any animation lock in-game.
So when your practicing for windstep , its important to make replays of yourself ( F11 ) and watch them , you can see your own animation locks in replays after all
