Not many Players/Clans will want to participate if the other team has a high advantage.
You would want to make events balanced thus giving everybody who participates a fair chance.
I understand your reason "they donated for their weapons, let them use them."
For the sake of the event make it non donors; or only all donors will participate which Is completely stupid.

Even if I was going to, it is a regular clanwar, meaning I can't go in the clanwars and monitor the players, so that would be pointless, also, it is only for 1 hour.
