Did you check your firewall? AntVirus? anyway download it again if this error still there.

Go to the FGunZ folder and start the launcher.exe, not the shortcut (.ink).
It's a terrible thing, I think, in life to wait until you're ready.
I have this feeling now that actually no one is ever ready to do anything.
There is almost no such thing as ready. There is only now.
And you may as well do it now. Generally speaking, now is as good a time as any.

Thanks guys, it seems ESET NOD32 blocked the patch download and doing so corrupted the launcher! So I redownloaded the installer and disabled the antivirus, then everything worked fine! Thanks for your time ! Should've tried that in the first place but I believe I was too lazy at the time...!
