You're not stealing that person will probably never come looking for the money.
If you feel bad about just donate it to something like a charity.

Well I'd take it since everyone could lie. I'd surely give it back if he or she had a purse lol, but you just can't know it ;( wait some days maybe someone will go around the school asking people if they found 40 euros then you 'll know who is it, if too much time passes, just use it or put them back to the place you found them

If someone say's that they lost 40$ then you give it. If not its yours to keep.
