Someone that can explain a little better how Farming works, the cycles is where it goes wrong I guess?

I am currently doing three patches:
1: Herb, Ranarr Seed (5 in total)
2: Bush, Jangerberries (4 in total)
3: Tree, Curry Tree (5 in total)

I looked up all the grow cycle times for them (OSRS wiki):
Ranarr Seed 4x 20 minutes (1 hour 20 min total)
Jangerberries 8x 20 minutes (2 hours 30 min total)
Curry Tree 6x 160 minutes (16 hours)

I planted my Jangerberries at ~05;30 PM, so they should be done 2h30m later at 08;00 PM... right?
However, I was unable to pick them until 08:24 PM? I am so confused ._. what am I doing wrong?

I also planted my Ranarr Seeds at ~07;48PM, so they should be done around 09;08 PM? Or the cycle thingy after (idk how late that is)?

Where they diseased? (plant cure or pay the farmer 6 watermelons to look after it) > compost and super compost helps against diseases.
But you should be correct on your timing, unless a disease affected your crops (if it didn't report it as a bug).

Never diseased, I use supercompost (Lunar spell) and pay them to watch my patches.
But I think it has something to do with "Farming ticks" ._. so much to take care off while farming, crazy.

Even Riot has more logic compared to this... Guess I just add 15 minutes on everything I planted before doing a run.

Yeah I guess I do that as well. Adding an additional cycle to ensure I am not doing a run when they are not even finished yet lol.

61 Runecrafting & 55 Farming now, also 1800 total... need a ton more levels before I can do my remaining dairies ._.
Just want to complete everything that is possible as 45 def Zerker. If I ever change to 70 def+ I can round off pretty much every diary and quest in a single day.
Hopefully miningtodt will be some decent afk/h xp, else screw those diaries.
I don't mind grinding a bit, but 60k xp/h with high apm and millions of xp to do is a huge f-cking "no thank you".

Logged into OSRS first time in months.. Looked at my account and it's mighty 42 defence / fire cape / 15 prayer / vengeance / AGS and then realised wasn't member, so bought a bond with that GP, played literally 5 minutes after that training my strength (Only 65 sucks right? Transitioned from SOTD pure to rune pure) to then find myself logging out and thinking 'BORING', really need to gather motivation to play again.
