Hi guys,

So I was "gifted" a Christmas Scythe from a classmate (who did zero fking work on our final project and felt bad that I did all of it, so gave it to me, but I digress...)
and was wondering when is the optimal time to sell it? In other words, when does the price peak?
Currently it went from 90M to 106M, and I'm wondering if it will only go higher?
I want to get to lvl 99 smithing by selling the scythe and buying mithril bars...huehuehue... but I need mucho mucho gp.
(Current smithing lvl is 73 >.>)
Also, why are mithril bars so expensive now? wtf??? 1.5k??? >.>' dafuqisthis...

I'd appreciate the advice!

Discontinued items always tend to go up (slowly).
Refer to http://services.runescape.com/m=item...item?obj=33625 and you'll see that you probably want to wait longer.
I would personally sell it 1 month before Christmas.

Thanks for the tip Dave.
I noticed that around November 2015 it sold only for ~ 75M and decreased during Christmas time.
This makes me a bit nervous about waiting that long, but trends do change.
If only the chart could go back 12 months so I can get a rough idea...

Hmmm... I could try:

Selling Christmas Scythe 200M!!!
