I haven't played for a long time, a few months and i just now ran the launcher. It goes to update from the launcher and it says patch failed right at the end. Is there a new launcher or do i need to re-install or something? I've had no problems in the past with my anti virus or anything.

I suggest you to download the new launcher manually here: here.
Replace it with the one in your FGunZ folder.
