    let me rephrase my argument.
    banning an account is typically in order to prevent someone from playing on the server since he is known to be unlegit.
    Now, by changing the password, he is no longer able to access the server through that account, therefore reaching the same goal as banning the account would, THEREFORE, iit should not be banned.
    So everything should be cool nao

    You let him use the account to commit an illegal act. Its like I give you my gun and let you go kill someone with it. After you get caught, should I be held unaccountable? Obviously not. I should be punished as an accomplice and there is no logical reason why I should get my gun back...
