aaanddd it didn't work and became even worse now, it's constantly disconnecting even when I do nothing at all.... please someone i'm desperate for help T_T

I tried to help, I don't know. That's just weird. You should just opt to buy a more reliable router and receiver.

Updating windows did something, but not enough..
Too bad I can't help, Did my best >.<
Also I can't find others having this issue over google, Only linux related, but that won't work with windows >.<

May I ask what OS you are currently using? Win 7, Vista, XP, etc.

And is this computer hooked to a router for wireless capability?

and is it a Laptop? or a Desktop Computer?




Anyway, ill post a more viable solution later when i get back from work. For now you can try this.

Go to Run from the start menu and type in "Performance Monitor"



Click to where it says Open Resource Monitor



From there you should see a bunch of tabs.

<----- Choose this one. And you'll see programs that are currently using the internet on your computer.

I'm hooked to a wireless router ( which works flawlessly on a macbook pro/laptop )
it only seems to be having issues on my computer, I just built this computer 4 days ago.

- Choose an other (control) channel at your Wifi settings.
- Set duplex to "Full-Duplex".

You can use this tool to scan for Wi-Fi networks and to see on which channel they are.
Select the channel which is free or barely used.

Duplex setting is not always an available setting in your router/modem, but if it's there, set it to full duplex.
Just crawl all of the pages in your router/modem.
