I need someone who could help me with Windows 8.
So my brother bought a Laptop with installed Windows 8.. he doesn't like the design and can't get use to work with it.
He asked me if I could install Win 7 on his Laptop and completely remove Windows 8.
So far, I keep failing hard... I know on Win 7 you go to BIOS and on Boot tab you set it up to Boot from CD/DVD
Windows 8 has a lot of options such as Fast Boot, Secure Boot, etc. I even tried to disable them all and just enable the booting from CD/DVD but after restarting "Press a key to boot from CD or DVD..." doesn't appears..
I'm asking for assistance if anyone could link me a complete guide on how to Boot a CD/DVD on Win 8..
Laptop specifications :
CPU : Intel Pentuim B980, 2.4 GHz
Memory : 6 GB
Graphic Card : nVidia GeForce 610M, 2 GB
OS : Windows 8 x64

You have to press a specific key at the boot screen when the laptop is starting to access the real BIOS. The key depends on the brand of your laptop.

I had to disable the Security Booting.
"Press any key to start booting from CD/DVD.." - message appeared and when I pressed random key Windows 7 started and froze on loading screen for over 30 minutes.
It could be from the CD or from the Win 7, I might try another one tomorrow.

its pretty complex to uninstall windows 8. its just cause of the stupid start screen and all that nonsense. this should help you. keep windows 8 the boot time is amazing. and the resources it uses on the ram is better than 7

your welcome. Start8 is a trial so your gunna have to find the hack/keygen for it.
