PROTIP: Kill OP for stupidity. A graphics configuration that isn't right for your hardware won't increase your ping. If it does, you can't play properly anyhow, and will quit gunz in no time flat. Like seriously, who told you it lowers your ping? Do you even know what ping is? Just... stop.

This is only helpful to people who have maybe a gig or less of ram.

GunZ can run smoothly with 1 gb of ram and normal settings.

So anyone who has under that, would obviously lower settings, or not play at all, so this guide is pretty much useless. Yea, you can lower settings beyond what they give you to choose from in options from the config, but you'd probably only have like 516 MB Ram to do that, which i would most definitely advise you to get more ram.

Don't start thinking you're smart. First of all, there's a little concept that Gunz uses (I know this as a fact) called Multithreading. For more information, you can see the Wikipedia page. By the way, cite your sources when you make an argument. Don't plagiarzer. ESPECIALLY Wikipedia. That's like, the worst thing to plagiarize. The speed of the graphics engine DOES NOT reflect on the speed of the network connection.

You know changing the quality of the game wont change the ping?

Loading the textures and detail and bitmaps is just done by the 3D engine they use
there is no way that lowering the graphics engine to such an ugly interface will increase your ping

This config will only speed up the game on such a crappy PC, the only way to increase your ping is get a better network card or live closer to people.
