Honestly, you should just watch some tutorials on mesh construction instead of tracing around other developers' work. It isn't only destructive to the mesh you are creating, it is disrespectful to the original developer who actually put time and effort into creating the blades you are using.

You should look up some lessons about Edgeflow, it might help you improve.
Try not to make these box models, sure they look nice from an orthographic point of view, but in engines /games they will not.
