Or just be smart enough to explain him good enough? He clearly didn't get it the first time.

When you get muted you lose you VIP tag, but when your mute is lifted you can get your VIP tag back.

Nope.

You can always request your VIP ingame status back when your mute has been lifted (see gold member section).
