For your 2nd try it's not bad! but i should follow different tut's to make it better

second try is better than first to make it look better u need to use text effects.

I was hoping the second attempt would include something from some tuts :o

Just go through the tut completely and exactly, and you can do that with your own work.

Or go through all the menus, and right click everything you see in PS..
