It's easy actually. All you need are good resources for your render,stock,c4ds and the other things that you will use in your signature.
The rest is experimentation, you just blend and experiment gradient maps etc.

Could you show me where you collect some of your things?
I use sigtuts.com for most of my renders.

Hmm, later I'll send you a private message with some tutorials that will help show you different methods to use. After that, you just gotta combine the different ways and have your own unique method ;p
