Why are the guard and pummel cylinders? These pieces should be flat, not round.
Why are stretched textures everywhere? Still UV mapping from view I see; don't do that.
Photosourcing your work? Don't just trace, use the image as a reference, not as a guide and the finished texture.
Why place so much data at the start of the blade when those details don't really matter? Just make a flat surface and change the texture to fit the model.
