[Help - Other] Laptop Problems.

So I have a HP Pavilion dm4 i5 1st Generation.

Recently, my laptop backlight turns off. I noticed that if I put it near sunlight, I can see VERY little of the screen. I used to be able to tilt the screen and the backlight will turn back on but sometimes it doesn't turn on. Also, the escape button and windows button doesn't work now...

Do you think it might be dust problem? Invertor? Backlight? I had this computer for about 3 years. I can't play Gunz because I can't even press escape to log out of a room without starting the program ALL over.

I used screen spray for pc/laptop but then I realised my backlight was off and I couldn't see anything just a lil bit and now my HP laptop is gone.. /My name is SR and this is my story.

Maybe some cable in the hinges is broken.
Or a resistor died, our tv had a couple resistors die and the backlight turned off.
We fixed it ourselfs via getting some new resistors and solding them in etc.
Obviously you cant realy do that with a laptop, well YOU, if you get what i mean.
Your only option would be to go to the customer support if your laptop still has varanty on it and just hope some, otherwise you have to pay for the repairment

My one happens like this when I take my laptop of the charge, but I hardly use laptops so, yeah.

You might need a new battery or something.
