You were kicked from an event for breaking one of the rules, regardless of the character it was still you. Just because you do one idiotic troll on a character doesn't mean the other characters can just slide by.

If you ever took the 10 minutes it takes to read the Rules / TOS, it says that even if you didn't read them, you're still going to be responsible for them, regardless of whether or not you know they're there.
