Does this mean I don't have to do lead shot against other players with high ping?

yes, if you see hit, its a hit

It means a hitmarker lands a shot successfully, ignoring any lag from the opposing player (about 95% of the time).

However, this only applies to guns. Melee nor explosives aren't affected.

All hits are overpowering the lag/spike that your opponent is having. Lag doesn't effect your aim anymore. If your cross hair is on him and you shoot. He will take damage.

Other than what the others said, there a room tag to remove this "Anti-lead". Just put [LEAD] in a room name.

antilead : Hit = hit. Mis = mis ~ clear?

Exactly it! You may have to lead a bit towards the 200+ pingers, though.
