I'm just going to give you some great action anime to watch because to be honest, the comparison of Death Note and Naruto Shippuuden is a terrible one; they are 2 different animes that have 2 different genres. (One being Supernatural-Death Note, while the other being Super Power-Naruto Shippuuden)

And if you are going to compare them based upon the stories then you still can't do that seeing as though 1 is to conquer the world (or some shit like that) while the other is to train and get stronger and use his power to help people and become Hokage.

Anyways, here are some very good suggestions, I give them all a 10/10, if you want more good anime to watch, click here:

Maybe Wolf Rain? Haven't watched it myself but definitely planning to.

    Plot:
According to an old legend, when the end of the world comes, a place known as Paradise will appear. However, only wolves will know how to find it. Although wolves are believed to have been hunted to extinction nearly two hundred years ago, they still exist, surviving by taking human forms.[1] Freeze City is a northern human city in a world where the majority of people live in poverty and hardship.

Kiba, an injured lone white wolf, goes to Freeze City following the scent of the Lunar Flower, which is the key to opening Paradise. There he encounters Tsume, Hige and Toboe, three other wolves who were drawn to Freeze City by the scent of the Lunar Flower and are now living in the city. The wolves encounter Quent Yaiden, a former Sheriff of Kyrios who is obsessed with hunting down wolves, and his dog Blue. Cheza, the Flower Maiden who is destined to lead the wolves to Paradise, is being studied at a laboratory under the care of Cher Degré. She is awakened by the smell of wolf's blood. As Kiba and Hige approach the lab to find her, she is stolen away by Lord Darcia the Third, whose people created Cheza.

Lucy, a young and psychotic Diclonius, manages to break free of her confines and brutally murders most of the guards in the laboratory where she is being held, only to be shot in the head as she makes her escape. She survives, falling off a cliff into the ocean and manages to drift along to a beach where two teenagers, Kouta and Yuka, discover her. Having lost her memories, she was named after the only thing that she can now say, "Nyuu," and the two allow her to stay at Kouta's home. *******************and for the ecchi lovers (perverts) *************************************

Dakara Boku wa, H ga Dekinai.
    Synopsis
NEVER make a deal with a wet goddess you've only just met. That's a lesson Ryosuke Kaga learns the hard way when he foolishly agrees to let Lisara Restole use some of his "essence" to stay in this world. Because despite her smoking hot appearance, Lisara's actually a Shinigami, a Goddess of Death. However, she DOESN'T steal years off his life like any decent Shinigami would do. Oh no, instead she sucks him dry of something much more perverse by leeching off his lecherous spirit and draining his ability to enjoy... er... the things that teenage boys normally spend most of their time thinking about! And now that he's been de-debased and de-debauched by her un-dirty trick, the poor regenerated degenerate's only hope of getting his licentiousness renewed is to join the queen of mental-clean on her quest, since when she leaves our mortal plane he regains his normal immorality! But the termination of the probation of his reprobation isn't guaranteed, because Goddesses of Death can be really harsh mistresses and it's going to be anything but easy to go back to being sleazy!

Take care and enjoy your sleepless nights

    My opinion:

D.Gray-man, Nurarihyon no Mago, Toaru Majutsu no Index, Elfen Lied, Soul Eater, Dakara Boku wa, H ga Dekinai are all shit. Especially Dakara Boku wa, H ga Dekinai, I gave that one a 1/10.

Nuharihyon no Mago is about a powerless guy doing powerless shit. His power is complete and utter shit. Soul Eater... I just couldn't watch that; the art style is WAY below average. Toaru Majutsu no Index is about making a guy with no powers seem as if he has a good "power". Elfen Lied... damn man, can't they even draw tits right? And Dakara Boku wa, H ga Dekinai... I have never watched such a pointless anime in my life. That anime is too terrible.

    Fate/Zero 1 and 2 << contains 2 seasons
    Synopsis
Fate/Zero takes place 10 years prior to the events of Fate/stay night, detailing the events of the 4th Holy Grail War in Fuyuki City. The War of the Holy Grail is a contest in which seven magi summon seven Heroic Spirits to compete to obtain the power of the "Holy Grail," which grants a miracle. After three inconclusive wars for the elusive Holy Grail, the Fourth War commences.

Founded by the Einzbern, Makiri, and Tohsaka families centuries ago, the Einzbern family is determined to achieve success after three successive failures, no matter the cost. As a result, they have elected to bring the hated magus killer, Kiritsugu Emiya, into their ranks, despite his methods and reputation as a skilled mercenary and a hitman who employs whatever he can use to accomplish his goals. Though Kiritsugu had once wanted to become a hero who could save everyone, he has long since abandoned this ideal upon realizing that saving one person comes at the cost of another's life. For the sake of humanity, he will ruthlessly destroy anything and anyone who threatens the peace of others.

However, Kiritsugu finds himself deeply torn between the love he has found for his new family—his wife Irisviel and their daughter Illya—and what he must do to obtain the Holy Grail. Meanwhile, Kiritsugu's greatest opponent appears in the form of Kirei Kotomine, a priest who cannot find any sense of fulfillment in his life and sets his sights on Kiritsugu as the possible answer to the emptiness he feels.

Btoom was good, I gave it a 9/10.
I haven't watched Devil May Cry.
Fate Zero (both seasons) were good. Gave them 10/10.
Mondaiji-tachi ga Isekai Kara Kuru Sō Desu yo was also good but they ****ed up the anime at the ending so I gave it a 8/10.

And if you read through this thread, you'll see my suggestions.
