Watcha mean? Most NPCs are between 500-3000. These are also mostly quads, so that number will be a little over 1k after triangulation.

Since this guy is so small, I stayed to the lower end (he only reaches a height of 1.1 meters)

Triangulation would make it more then double, I think it could be lower faces ^^.
