Deathbattle is wrong rofl. Everybody in japan knows that.
They know nothing about DragonBall Z. Their are just stupid Americans. Look what they explain why Goku would lose too superman. It doesn't make sense. They mention low power levels of Goku in the DragonBall Z series. They focused on Goku's powerlevel when he was not even on his max. Like Dragonball z GT for example.. DBZ GT is way too powerfull for superman. Superman would have troubles with Piccolo already.
They are not completly honest.

Dude they didn't include the fact that it was said that Superman is 1300x stronger than the average human extending to a much higher level when entering the sun. Although if we went JUST on the power scale that DragonBall Z uses... we would know that the average human's level is 5. 5x1300=6500 and Goku's level can go up in the millions or billions if I remember correctly... you have to read from the DragonBall Z site since his power level cannot be measured through a scouter anymore.

Superman's power level isn't even over 9000!

Even someone 1300x stronger than a human can't withstand any amount of "supernovas to the face." If you honestly believe that, then let's assume that the average human can lift 150 pounds. If you multiply that by 1300, you get 195,000. So superman can't lift more than 195,000 pounds? That's incorrect because he's proved to lift way more than that (not just a little more, we're talking way, way, way beyond trillions of pounds). To make the assumption that [whoever said 1300x] believed that a human's power was equal to 5 can't be made. You don't know if the source of that statistic interpreted the average human power to be equal to that of the DBZ Writers' interpretation of human power. It's not like Goku is lacking anything, it's that all the writers for Superman weren't necessarily working together, and thus, when you amass everything together, his power isn't consistent. Some writers were a little trigger-happy giving him god-like powers, and so it's not really a fair fight. Goku was developed by a consistent team, and thus his power is more defined and consistent. By nature, superman is more overpowered because less thought went into his character design, and some writers didn't really think about how powerful he was really getting in comparison to other interpretations of superman.
