Everyone knows that Nas is the untouchable MC who has made more classics than anyone out there and who has influenced not only tons of rappers but simply 90% of the whole genre. Illmatic, It Was Written, Stillmatic, all of them unforgettable albums where almost every track is memorable. NO other rappers AT ALL have achieved this. I'm glad some of you actually said Nas.
Next to that, the GOD of MCs: Rakim.
Next to them in the top 10, in no order: KRS-One, Pharoahe Monch, Notorious BIG, Big Daddy Kane, Big Pun, Mos Def, Eyedea and Guru.
I'd probably put 2Pac and Eminem in my top 15.
Greatest rappers today, in my opinion: R.A. The Rugged Man, Kendrick Lamar, CunninLynguists, Pharoahe Monch, Nas, Ab-Soul, Joey Bada$$, Lupe Fiasco
