More characters per account

so the only arguments ive seen so far against this are:
1. no i dont want other people having more than 4 chars **** them
2. too much work (understandable, but i didnt hear a dev comment on this so we don't actually know how much work it is)
3. hurr durr herka derka use other acc n00b (but what about donars??!?!?!)

Sorry but we don't see any reason why we should do that, I'm not convinced by the posts in this thread either.
Of course you would think the more the better, but it's not worth it to put so much effort into it for just 1 extra character slot.
