Well, this is my first try on blender, and i watched alot of toturials about blender on youtube.
here is my first work:



took me 1 hour.
the texture is regular laser sword texture.

yea, the texture was white.
means the white color is the laser. i used bad texture.

Just a heads up, before you get into the habit of tracing images for your weapons and stuff, it's far better to create your own textures. It's a lot harder and more complicated of-course but the end result is worth it if you really want to make a decent 3D model. Plus, a lot of people are anal about non-custom textures so that just makes it worse.
