I can't criticize as much as I'd like because I don't use GIMP. However, some suggestions would be:
Get Photoshop.
Look up tutorials.
Add Lighting.
Look up tutorials.
Add Depth.
Look up tutorials.
Add Effects, but don't add too many.
Look up tutorials.
Better text pl0x?
