I would almost say that it's dark around the edges, but that's the style it's supposed to be. I think it looks good. I wonder what the text would look like with a slight stroke around it and a top->bottom gradient.

I tried to add a gradient but it was hard to get good colors without it being too bright. I'll try and post a result.

Try sampling colors from the little blue streak between the black parts on the left.

It's a little hard to see the i and n. How does it look reversed? (the gradient)

When I make it brighter on the left, it contradicts the lighting of the sig. I'll keep messing with colors and intensity of the lighting though.
