Second season at the earliest would more than likely start in the spring, and that's assuming there's enough content in the manga to consume another 6 months worth of episodes by that time.

The anime is ended pretty far into where the manga is currently at. And to be honest, I'd prefer the wait rather than have half the season true content and half the season some sort of filler content.

You are right, however the manga needs time to catch up. The first episode of the first season started on chapter 43 and the season ended just before chapter 50 was released. Sure there may be close enough content, but what if the series is more expansive than we thought? The series has gotten ultimately popular to the point where I'm sure they'll continue the anime until completed. With the manga currently only working one chapter a month, it's going to need a lot of space because take into account the first season ended on chapter 34.

However with the anime adaptation currently over with, it may become bi-monthly or even weekly, but who knows.
