I couldn't stop laughing. You didn't even hit him once NTA. When you hit a user you see the 'slashed' animation, he didn't get slashed. This is because there was distance lag, don't get 'distance lag' the wrong way, take it as just 'distance' from him to you. Now swords are old-style meaning you have to lead, don't worry about shotguns and other weapons they are coded as anti-lead. Distance = Lead, if user is low ping to you, there will be no such problem when it comes to a sword fight.



(The transparent one which is the same guy is the one where you have to hit (only swords)). It's practically like, The full one, meaning where you see him, is where you see him on your pc screen (obv), the transparent one, is the one where he is really at (his PC screen).
