Hello fellow Freestylers,

In the blog we (the Forum Moderators & Administrators) are going to look at the current Terms of Service, chatbox rules and more to make a more fitting environment for you and ourselves.
We are going to rework the Terms of Service by adding new content, an easy to read style and a new look to it easier to find specific sections in our ToS.
More changes will be posted later on by me or another Forum Moderator.

We will slightly adjust/add some rules to Clan section rules thread

Also we will add suggestion threads on what uploader is best/easiest to use for reports and such.

Well it's good and all that you're keeping the community under control, but how about some staff member guide lines because that needs some serious changing/adjusting.

We have staff member guidelines; just because they are not visible to the public does not mean they are not written.

I believe the current ToS is fine how it is, adding more rules etc will make it more strict and would become annoying at times.

For now Dave disabled the # in the chatbox, with the reason given that people are idiots who are using it.
You can always ask him to add that function again.

Adding content as in content that we act to yet that has not been fully added in the Tos that people are aware of it that they make a mistake.

We have are personal guidelines as Wucas stated before, yet we will look at the current guidelines and see if we can make some changes.

I agree with Charcoal. I think forum moderator rules are supposed to be visible to any registered user, the ToS is basically a guideline for the forum moderators for when to give a warning on an infraction. But after some time, they might bind those rules to their own hand, and in those scenarios it'd be good for normal users to tell them as well that they were wrong not to punish, or to punish. Also, some staff members act quite immature some times, I think especially as a forum moderator you should always behave proper, some guidelines / public rules about that wouldn't hurt at all.
