Gonna release all of my random documents lol, if you're having some trouble with d-style or confused at all, these will help.
Video Reference to each D-Style sub-style:

I've been trying to balance D-Style or basically said, finding out how can it be possible for D-Style to clearly match up to K-Style since I mastered all the known D-Style moves that can be used in battle consistently in 2009 (Note I did not say for dstylers to match up to kstylers, because d-style was known/is to not match up to kstyle)
I believe I have done it, since may 29th (wrote down the date/time when I finally figured it all out, shall be released but let's take a look through history and make use if this guide if you like)

My background Info real quick for those who don't know me:IGN: DDaggerDD, iDDaggerDD (meh.. some1 got my name, lame >_>)
    Started Playing GunZ: 2006
Number of Breaks Taken From GunZ since 2006: Zero, besides this forced break cuz life
    KStyled First since 2006 - 2007~
Quit KStyle since 2008, started D-Style on female character, then to male
    Performed Slingshot/Shimmer Shot (on accident)
Founded by Flytermo, DDaggerDD, Jamaar, and whoever else helped figuring that shit out, (took long lol) Earlier version first done by TheHaxorz

Founded AI Evasion (After image evasion) with Flytermo (note, he's not lagging, hes skipping frames using the technique after image, true d-style evasion, dodging bullets)
    - And many many more things that shall be released soon

    2010~:

    Dagger Description/What was Known:

The Dagger: Compared to the sword, it allows faster movement thanks to the ability to stab while moving, even while dashing. It can defend from heavy single attacks like massives or point blank shots from shot guns and slashes with its e lunge combinations. It allows the fastest movement with Elunge and Stab movement cancel when combined together. Also allows fast attack combos and maneuvers
its basic stab speed is as fast as swords most advance and fastest move combo, the tripple butterfly, and even a tbf can only have one dash in a single jump, while a dagger can have a variety from 1-3 dashes while stabbing in the air from a jump.

Althought daggers have a hard time getting through a k stylers slashing combos with stabs, they can use their upgraded lunge, an extended lunge, which is stronger than a single stab and has a knock down effect, and can also force the enemy to be stuck hovering over the floor in mid air with its magic. ELunge can be aimed, curved and stretched to their likeing for maxiumun control.

The dagger has the most control and speed in the game, while the sword has less control, but with it in the right hands, the player can defend from many hits and apply counter moves for great defence before taking a fall.

Hence the gladiator D-Styler, 13th, maining E-Lunge back then.

Old Documents, No. 2, 2011 - The Journey to Balancing Player Base in DStyle & KStyle: https://freestylersworld.com/showthre...yle-amp-KStyle

    Late 2010 - mid 2011:

    Slap:
    ShadowSkullz:
    Druko/Soul: (druko) (Soul)

DStyle is best in:(OUTDATED/INVALID NOW, IGNORE)

    - Evading moves with speed

    - Single Air shot move placement

    - Countering Attacks

    - Exploiting opponents

    ------------DStyle styles-------------

Slap- speed evasion rush, evasive shot moves, exploits, DPS Through Melee and shoots at right times to save ammo and critical shot hits, also mixes Pbs after exploits/melee combos. Fights in circles to raise chances of exploits and some counters.

Shadowskullz- speed shot chained moves mid-close range, counter things coming to him, DPS through a barrage of shots- the more shots over time = the more damage. Gotta hold ur ground in the mid/close range and stop them from pushing you.

Druko/Soul- Slow movement aim style, DPS through critical shot hits by doing stronger hits when they move into you.

    -------------Moving in for each style--------------

Slap: moves in with evasive techniques while adding JSF and YoyoQ. Slow speed of shots

Shadowskullz: moves in with blinksteps forward and sideways angled, also with Yoyos. Then starts the barrage of shots in mid-close range after reaching. *Saves the barrage of shots for mid-close range only* *one shot moves to move in* Fast speed of shots

Druko/Soul: Moving in with Yoyo's chained and few angled side blinksteps. Yoyo's move in like space invading sometimes or just randomly. Moves in slow with a mid speed of shots.

-----------Weaknesses n Strengths to each style-----------

Slap: Losing damage when moving in, but starts melee combo's and gets in stronger shots at closer range right before starting combo's with JSD or JSF and sometimes YoyoQ.

Shadowskullz: Reloads more often than the other styles. Kills fast after the barrage of shots. Hard to time counters any time, so its more of a mixture of evading slashes with shot moves while adding a few counters if rushed.

Druko/Soul: Uses walled shot moves to evade slashes coming at them, but d style cannot go up a wall and shoot the same time easily/any time in mid battle = lose faster quick damage over time, but results in a critical shot hit. Easier to aim at, but mainly about kill first before they kill you, disregarding the hits on you. Also get pushed around a lot, but ready to use counters because not doing too many moves which adds delay to your stabs after them.

-------Starting Melee combos with the styles--------

Slap: Main goal is starting melee combo's from exploits and don't need counters much because don't give them the chance to rush you. Barely have to reload, can get enemies while they are reloading.

Shadowskullz:Don't need melee too much, but if the counter allows it, then start the combo. Also if the opponent is wide open and its easy to start, then start, but its mostly about the DPS from shot moves in mid-close range.

Druko/Soul: Do not need melee much, barely need it and cannot start easily since barely use counters vs. things coming at you and mainly shot move avoiding with wall moves. But if the open is wide open or its close range and you can start from close, then do it. People will rush you more than the other styles and you are more ready to use counters because less moves, then turn the tables and pull off a killer combo.

--------Combination of all styles for a balanced style---------( Every thing below basically now just a history record of me fly n a few other guys (jamaar, credits to thehaxorz, tryna change up the meta moves of d-style in 2010 or at least, for our selves, can still get info and tips from this in some ways)
The video of some of the techniques in mind:

    Strengths n Weaknesses:

DD/Fly- Slap's: Moving in with shot moves to max damage. Although its slower, it's still more damage. Ready to do counters because evasive moves can change into counter tactics.
DD/Fly-ShadowSkullz': Moving in with one shot moves are replaced with 2 shot 2 movement moves (YoyoRSH, RS-SlingSwitch, etc), or a 1/2 shot single movement move that gives good distance. Deciding to move in fast like slap style or move in like shadowskullz style depends on male or female character, because of the differences in the chaining and starting of slingshot/variations of it. Less of a chance to do counters when you want because of move chaining.

DD/Fly-Druko/Soul: Replaces dodging slashes and things coming at us with counters then turning the tables and starting combos like that. Also makes the slowed down aimed shots into faster aimed shots and they are still critical shot hits because we move vs their moving in, but our moving in carries more shots thanks to 2 shot 2 movement. More ready to do counters because not doing too much move chaining.

---------------------Real weaknesses of DD/Fly's Balanced Style-----------------------
    Full-Slap-D:
This style limits you depending on the gender of your character. Since its a balance, it has all the traits of each style but also weakens each style depending on gender. For example, moving in on male for slap style, we move in slower and end up losing the strength of barely needing to reload and getting people while they have to reload, unless we were on female which balances things out more but loses damage moving in.

    Full-Shadow-D:
We take away the staying in close/mid range while chaining a barrage of shot moves vs. the enemy, and add in Slap's close range melee exploits, but the barrage of shot moves is in the moving in since we can do 2 shot 2 movement moves, instead of 1 shot 1 movement for distance. We lose instant damage from dodging with shot moves and less counters, but fixed with more exploits then melee shot move combos.

Full-Drusoul-D: We lose the wall moves, and lose the critical shot hits, which turn into melee shot combo moves for faster damage instead of crit hits.

-------------------Improvements to the 3 Sub-styles------------------- (Relevant in 2010 in reference to DD/Fly sub style (when switch dash came into play)

Slap: Moving in with speed evasive moves is turned into moving in with Shot evasive speed moves. This works because we can use slingshot or shimmer shot which is basically the same as a tumble + shot, but that tumble is a dash. Since its a full dash, it gives good distance compared to yoyo and blinkstep, which the dashes are very short. Moving in with the slingshot variations such as Slingswitch and Slinghalf. Another improvement is to the speed evasive moves, since we now know more about switchdash we can add it to our moves and replace some regular dashes with switch dashes, or replacing dash stabs(dagger train/dagger hop/daggerflash) with switch dashes since they can chain and allow quick floatsteps after them.

Shadowskullz: Faster chained shot moves that flow good. 2 Shot 2 Movement moves such as ldyoyorsh/yoyorsh. And SlingRs which is a 2 shot one movement move which also can give good distance depending on how fast you are moving already since it doesnt slow down your current movement. Also countering more often is fixed because of the faster dagger switches, and dodging things coming at you with shot moves is fixed because of more movements with shot moves when we need them.

Druko/Soul: Can be more evasive with aimed shots and don't have to stop your walking/aim mode to add in jumping moves thanks to shimmer shot which also allows you to stay closer to an enemy coming at you to get stronger shots while dodging their rushed attacks moving into you thanks to the fact that you can do a full dash and shoot the same time like a tumble shot. Also thanks to phantom dashing, you can do it with Shimmer Shot and go right through an enemy for a stronger critical shot instead of just moving backwords and sideways while adding wall moves to avoid things charging at you, which also keeps you from using too much of the map and being pushed around. Another thing is that using wall moves to avoid enemies charging at you is improved thanks to shimmershot/slingshot, which allows you to do them any time in air, basically do them after that single wall move, like wall yoyo, to get another move in air before you fall or just chain slingshot variations in air before you fall, maximum in air before you fall is 2/3.

--------------Family Tree move type recommendments for each sub-style--------------

Slap: Slingshot for females and yoyo family for males with slingshot as a sub family.

Shadowskullz: Yoyo/Blink family with Shimmershot as a sub family

Druko/Soul: Can go with ShimmerShot as the main family and Yoyo's as sub family. Or Blinkstep and Yoyo as main families.

DD/Fly/You: There are no certain family of moves for this one. It comes down to realizing which family of moves would do better for the situations you are in which may depend on the enemies you are fighting. But it also depends on how you want to move in. Do you want to move in tricky and evasive with shimmer shot n variations or do you want to move in with speed using SlingShots. However, the main spamming moves are still Yoyo/Blink.

    ------------------------A new Sub-style?-------------------------

Counter Style: Using evasive 'halfed moves' to always be ready to counter anything coming at you which raises your chances to start your melee combos and focuses on side to side fighting and a space invading type of moving in. (Slap does this sub-style in the following video at 0:56 - 1:06, note it's a lot more advance than that now, but this is a good example, using YoyoQuarter, hitting the shot, and hitting the "Quarter part" against a rushing opponent, he counters a DBF/BF and block taps them, forcing a massive charge which has a chance of forcing the opponent to massive, which happens in that fight)

Weaknesses n Strengths: You lose your chain of shots kind of like slap style, but this still has a bit more shots.

    2011 Continued~

    Gunz Dagger Combat Styles:

    1. Speed Style(Quick Movements, Going fast paced to places, No Movements that make u have extra delay)

    2. Close Combat(Not Missing Point Blank Shots, Good in stunning with stabs to get people low, able to take out an enemy fast upclose)

    3. Evading(Able to dodge shots from all angles while killing, The less shots used the more you stay alive to get them to reload before you have to)

    4. Mid Range(Most of your damage is dealt while at mid range. You can stay alive longer in this range)

    5. Long Range(Most of your damage is here. You can stay alive longer here. Accuracy is important to this type of player, People have hard times reaching you without getting shot)

    6. Aerial(You can kill people while in the air. You can see almost everything up here, Easier to kill people running to med, Tracking down campers, or even a long ranger)

    7. Rusher(Always rushing to reach the opponent. Give them a hard time to kill you while you rush, Speed is important here to reach the opponent fast, So wen you reach them, You kill them, Or atleast do some serious damage. Also able to push back enemies while you rush, Every shot counts while rushing)

8.______ Range Staller(With this style, you shoot a lot and wait for the opponent to reach you. You dont back away, because you know you can't miss that point blank shot to the face anyday)

    9. _______ Range Stalker(You move in slowly while attacking the same time, so by the time you reach the enemy, you can take them out and do more critical damamge)

    10. Mixed Up(Any of the above mixed up)
