    Fixed! Took me awhile but I had quite a bit of exclusions to add. The issue was definitely antivirus, Dave. Thank you and everyone else for their help.

    What AV?
    And you can add your whole folder with most AV's (at least with Avira you can select your whole folder).

    I would highly suggest uninstalling one of the two antivirus systems. You will run into more problems in the future not to mention I would hate to think how slow your computer must be. You would see a great improvement in performance if you uninstall one.

    Remove Norton, one AV is enough, no need to have two just to stay protected.

    PC speed is fine, and my Norton is being paid for. I knew someone would have brought this up. In a matter of a couple of days this PC will be scrap anyway, so it's not a big deal.

    If that is the case try to get infected by a rootkit. Would totally like to see how two A/V's would handle that. XD
